1997

Name of the band came from Japanese childen TV show, Ponkickies, actually from a character on it. The band is also known as 69 from a play on words, since six-nine can be pronounced "muku" in Japanese. Band has four members, TATOO, Miya, Hiro and SATOchi. They release demotape, NO?!

1998

MUCC releases two more demotapes, Tsubasa wo kudasai and Aika.

1999

On February Hiro decides to leave the band. Week after this Miya's old friend and guy who had been filming MUCC's lives etc, YUKKE joins MUCC to Hiro's place. They release also two demotapes, Shuuka and Aka and right after this they released their first album Antiiku.

2000

TATOO changes his name to Tatsuou, which is also his real name. Also the name of the band changed from MUCC to "mukku" (ムック). They also release their very first single, called Syouhu/Hai and second edition of Antiiku this time with name Antique. Mini-albums also have a little different tracks. 

2001

ムック releases their first full-lenght album Tsuuzetsu. Remastered version of Tsuuzetsu, Tsuuzetsu ~inshouchigai~ came into release on June. On July they release two singles, Aoban and Akaban and on same years December a mini-album, aishuu

2002

ムック forms their own record label, Shu. They also release two singles, Fu wo Tataeru Uta and Suisou and one full lenght album, Homura uta. Also new press of Tsuuzetsu is released.

2003

Relase of first DVD, MUCC 2003 natsu no Tour [nihon rettou konton heisei shinnoju] Final NK and relase of triple single Ware, Arubeki Basho and album, Zekuu. Record deal with Universal music. Miya also works with his side project, GeKiGaKutai, and finally they release their album, Tokyo.

2004

2004 seemed to be pretty busy year for ムック. They released two singles, Rojiura boku no kimi e and Monokuro no Keshiki, album Kuchiki no tou and liveversion of this album LIVE AT ROPPONGI. Also second DVD relase, MUCC history DVD the worst where is also clips filmed by YUKKE before he joined the band. 

2005

Also year 2005 seemed to be really busy for guys. LIVE AT ROPPONGI normal press was released, as well as singles Kokoro no Naimachi, Ame no Orchestra and Saishuu Ressha. Also album Houyoku and offical photobook kRayzi yeaR(s) were released. ムック also relased another art-book Shounen M, book which includes interviews were edited by magazine UV (Ultra Veat). On the same time ムック had some relases in Europe, Kuchiki No Tou (European press) and Homura uta (European press) were relased by label Gan-Shin.  

2006

As 2004 and 2005 seemed busy, so did also 2006. ムック relased singles Gerbera, Ryuusei, Utagoe, Horizont and European press of Saishuu Ressha. Albums 6 and Gokusai are relased, followed with next album re-relases in Europe: Houyoku, 6, Zekuu and European re-press of Homura Uta. They also kept tour in Europe and played in OTAKON in USA. Another relases were 6 the score-book and two DVDs, Tonan no Houyoku and World Tour Final Nippon Budokan 666

2007

Happy ten years birthday MUCC! As for their 10th birthday year they call year 10th anniversary the brilliant. During this year, they've released two singles, LIBRA and flight. Also their second live album, Psychedelic Analysis was released. On June they released two albums, THE BEST OF MUCC and THE WORST OF MUCC. These CDs have the greatest hits of MUCC as well the rare B-sides of theirs.

MUCC also had their third single fo this year, FAZZ, scheduled to be released in September, but they changed it, and now it's going to be released in end of October. Another upcoming release is their DVD, Mucc -Live Chronicle- and some limited editions of their old DVD materials.
